Help understanding pathology & now surgery?

I’ve done some research & have read here that my recent 2 week (confusing) ordeal seems common but my pathology results were called into question resulting in surgery soon.
Like many posters, i too had an abnormal MG & called back for diagnostics: which resulted in an ultrasound & later a stereotactic biopsy. Arrived to get my results & just as the ultrasound radiologist said: my doctor says your pathology report is normal. She then sees a contrary opinion by another doctor in the system & steps out to speak with dr. Comes back & says my micro calcifications associated with epithelial elements could be pre-cancerous & its just best to remove the tissue & further examine. This could possibly mean an additional surgery. My question is this: the mammogram rad, ultrasound rad., my dr & mystery dr do not all agree.
Anyone had a similar experience & my pathology results read much different than results I’ve seen here. Also: I haven’t told my family anything yet. When is it a good time to do that?
Just to add: they seem more preoccupied with the diagnostics which say: suspicious **pathology states: benign. Appreciate any feedback
