October 17 '08 (todaii) i noticed a red patch on my left breast. what is it?

Hi, Today i noticed i had a red spot on my left breast. It looks exactly like a rug burn which is wierd because i dont kno why it would be there,I dont roll on the floor with my boobs. lol. I'm 15 and i'm so scared that it could be IBC (inflamitory breast cancer) something like that. My nipple is NOT going in, NO lumps, NO swelling...[[knock on wood]]
but when i touch the spot it hurts like a burn. It has dry skin and is peeling.its located at the bottom of my left breast. could it be the bra??  it's like 2 inches in length and im guessing 1 inches in width.. =/   Please get back at me.. PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!

XOXO, Jay <3

It does not look like breast cancer, but there are some other serious things it could be.  Go to the hospital immediately.  It could be a tick bite which or a Brown Recluse Spider bite (you never feel either of these bite) and both could lead to very serious illness if you don't get help right away.  You will most likely be put on an antibiotic and they will have to test you for whatever it is.  Never wait when there is a possibility that you can come to harm.  Tell you parents right away.  GO!  Please let us know what it was and how you are doing.

Breast cancer of any type would be rare at your age. Skin on the breast is the same as skin any place else on the body. This might very well be from your bra as you mentioned but you should have this checked out by your Physician .. or by a Dermatologist. I would advise you to do the same thing you would do if this were on another part of your body ... I wouldn't be thinking breast cancer.  Regards .....
