Okay, I am 26 years old with a history of fibroadenoma. I had one biopsied last year in my right breast. It was benign. every 6 moths I get routine ultrasounds I have 6 all together for the last 4 years. 2 weeks ago I found a lump under my right arm. I went to the dr. and he said it was a swollen lymphnode and probably reactive b/c it was moveable ans soft, but not painfull. I was freaking out and told him I wanted it removed. That and my largest fibroadenoma. well over this past weekend I came down with a horrible flu. aching, fever, chills, coughing. Could that have caused my swollen lymphnode?? This monday I had my surgery and got the 2 things removed. He told my fiance they dont look cancerous. How can he tell?? They were supposed to have the results in yesterday, but they dont. Does this sound like something to be concerned over, b/c these last 2 weeks have been horrible. I have a 10 month old, and all I can think about is her future, and I want to be healthy for her.
