anxiety

I had mastectomy and axilla clearance 10 months ago, followed by 4 chemo then 20 zaps of radiotherapy, skin got about 7 little red blotches in area ,saw surgeon about 7 weeks ago ,only about 3 then and he says it was ok from radiation, worried as there are now more .

Please contact your radiology oncologist office for this issue. They will be the only ones who really can discuss this issue with you as it's most likely been caused by your radiation.

hi thanks for reply ,I think i will phone my breast nurse as she is great and I seem 2 see her at my appointments rather than oncologigist,our hospt is so busy my next schedule appt with him i april 2013,got1 in nov with breast surgeon no mamma 2012 , all cut backs ,thanks again for answer ,when ur on ur own think things escalalte ,less than2 yrs since lost my husband of 43 yrs 2 cancer,luv Laurynann

I owuld think that the skin problem is no doubt a result of the radiation. I would suggest that you see your Oncologist rather than the Surgeon regarding this issue. He/She may be able to give you some cream or other preparation that will help with these skin problems.   Regards .....
