I know it's easier said than done, but try not to be too scared. You can't deal with "what ifs"-you can only deal with "what is", so wait until you know what is and go from there, OK? We all know the wait for results is difficult, but try to stay positive. Statistically, the odds are in your favor and most biopsies end up with benign results. yes I had a needle aspiration and core biopsy. now waiting for results. scared.
As a rule cysts are benign findings ... if there is any question at all a biopsy is usually recommended on the Radiology report. If you didn't have the report you might discuss it with your prescribing Physician. Regards .....
