S orry I posted this on the wrong email I was asking the doctor this question. I'm so nervous about what going on with me. Sorry
I had breast cancer 6 years ago lumpectomy. I had chem and radiation 5 lyph nodes removed that were positive. All my mammograms have been clear up unitl now. Report states that increased in conspicuity since prior study. The report also stated that I have a cluster of calfication lateral in my left breast. What do I do about this and is this possible cancer or what
You are not describing any medical procedure that I've heard of. Usually, cluster is a word for describing calcifications, and the usual way of biopsy for calcifications is called a 'stereotactic core biopsy'. By the way, NYU is one of the best breast care centers in the world, possibly the best. Good for you!
