concerned

hi all, I am a 32 yr old mum of 3, i found a hard lump in my right breast a few weeks ago and was referred to the breast clinic, i had an ultrasound and they found that there were 2 solid lumps right next to each other, i then had a mammogram and they found another lump in my left breast. they are all solid lumps not cysts. i had core biopsys on all 3 lumps (apparently they looked suspicious), the results won't be back until next friday...I am really scared, can anyone put my mind at ease???

Hi Twinkle,
I am sincerely sorry to hear this news!
A diagnosis of breast cancer is one of the most devastating things a woman can hear. You are certainly not alone...many of us have been through that shocking news.
You seem to be a strong, positive woman and this is one of the best attitude to fight this disease head on.Nowadays, with all the advanced medical treatments for breast cancer, more women live a full healthy life rather than die from it.
A breast cancer diagnosis is not the end of the world. You will have the best possible care from your Surgeon and oncologist who will plan a specific treatment for your particular situation.Hopefully the treatment will be successful as it was for many of us here.
Wishing you an uneventful surgery and prompt recovery.
You can do it Twinkle...Best of luck to you and God Bless!!.

Thank you so much for the comment...less than 12 hours to go and am spending that time keeping busy and spoiling myself rotten with some goodies that my friends have given me!! I am extremely lucky to have such supportive friends and family and to be able to come on here for a gripe when i feel i am boring them half to death.

Thanks Again

I'm sorry to hear about all the stress you've been under recently---that's a lot for a mother of 3 to have to deal with. I just want to add my good wishes to the others---I've always said waiting for the path report is absolutely the worst part of a biopsy! Like zouzi said statistically the odds are in your favor for benign results, especially at your young age. Even if it's the worst, it will have been caught early and highly treatable.
We'll just keep those positive thoughts going for you and hope for the best. Do try to keep busy to make the time pass more easily and hang in there---you sound like a strong woman and you'll get through this.
Sending you a big hug across the pond (       ),
