concerned

hi all, I am a 32 yr old mum of 3, i found a hard lump in my right breast a few weeks ago and was referred to the breast clinic, i had an ultrasound and they found that there were 2 solid lumps right next to each other, i then had a mammogram and they found another lump in my left breast. they are all solid lumps not cysts. i had core biopsys on all 3 lumps (apparently they looked suspicious), the results won't be back until next friday...I am really scared, can anyone put my mind at ease???

Thank you so much for your message, it's so good to know i can come on here and clear my head with people who know what i'm going through, and receive messages of support. I've had a pretty tough 18 months had a bit of a scare when a cyst was found in my brain and then diagnosed with chronic migraine, and then this comes up....don't want to moan at my friends all the time!!
Thank you again

Hi Twinkle,
You don't have to be sorry because you are venting. No one better than us can understand how one feels while waiting for the results. Most of us have all been through it and felt exactly the same way you do.I know there is nothing we can say to make you feel better, but isn't a good opportunity to do things with your friends while waiting? It's only 2 days to go, so use this time to pamper yourself a little,go shopping and do things you like to do alone or with your friends.
Hang in there Twinkle, things might turn up to be alright after all. :)
Keeping my fingers crossed for you and again wishing you GOOD LUCK!!!!

2 more days until i get the results, am so nervous i can't eat......i know that if it is the big C then i can deal with it, its the waiting and not knowing, and not being able to make plans (suddenly all my friends have "things" they want me to do with them!!) sorry for the venting, just needed to get it off my chest (so to speak!!)

Thanks

Hi again Twinkle,
As you well know,a biopsy is the only certain way to learn whether a solid breast lump/lumps or suspicious area seen on a mammogram is benign or not.
Of course I understand your concern and waiting for the results is always very stressing.. Please, try not to worry so much and keep in mind that a high percentage (80%)of  breast lumps are benign, which means no cancer is present.
Waiting for the results it's not easy at all,but try to keep as busy as you can and hopefully the waiting will seem shorter.
Please keep us posted when you'll get the biopsy results, which I sincerely hope will be favorable.
Wishing you all the best dear...and good LUCK!! :)
P.S When you'll post again, please use this same thread,so we can have all your information together to better help you.Thank you.
