Hi,
To have your surgery at this major clinic is a very good decision.I also have to tell you that I really admire the honesty of this General Surgeon for recommending this Major Clinic for your surgery....(or was it because of the smart question you posed? LOL)..
I am doing quite well thank God and I hope that you too will be just fine.I am sending you good thoughts and of course my prayers.God Bless you and good luck.

thanks for your reply on waiting til surgery.Im going to a top cancer hospital on jan 11 ; instead of a general surgeon here i chose one 2 hrs away but she,s an onacology
surgeon.they all work as a team on which way to go on surgery and i feel in better hands even tho if i had it here id been done by now . the best way to get an honest reply was what would you do if i were your wife. he the general surgeon ,s reply was this cancer facility. hope your doing well now and say a prayer for me.

Hi,
I remember when I had my biopsy at the end of August 2008, I went through several  tests before surgery. In the first week of November I was operated on...so that would make 9 weeks of waiting.I was also very concerned like you and I wanted to have my surgery done as soon as possible fearing that the cancer would get larger ( I had IDC invasive breast cancer). My surgeon assured me that there was absolutely no danger at all and that I could have waited even much longer than 9 weeks.I wish you all the best and an uneventful successful surgery.
