Sorry for messing up your name before.
If you are being seen by a cancer center, even just a cliic, you should speak to the Social Worker. Helping patients out with financial issues is tgheir specialty and they are excellent at it.

You may also want to ask your doctor for samples. Best wishes for being in that horrible position.
You might be eligible for Medicaid and if not some of the medication companies have what is referred to as a "Patient Assistance Program" where they will cover medications without cost if you don't meet the criteria for various insurance programs. Also if you are working and don't meet the criteria for standard Medicaid if your state has it there is the Medicaid Buy In Program for Working People with Disabilities. Discontinuing a medication all at once can cause withdrawal symptoms and also a return in the symptoms the medication was treating. Its best to find out options as regards coverage. Sometimes independent living centers can be helpful in that regard in providing information on what is out there. There are other places as well that can be of help. If you still have a treating physician stay with them as they will need to write letters of documentation to substantiate any form of coverage.
