Cat won't eat and barely drinks

Two days ago my cat vomited up immediately after her meal, and vomited up bile as well. Yesterday we took her to the vet who gave her meds for stomach pain, appetite stimulant, and ran blood and urine tests. The urine is okay, and we should get the blood results soon. But the appetite stimulant that we gave her almost 24 hours ago does not work, and the label says give only every 72 hours. My cat is really lethargic and a bit wobbly. We've given her all of her favorite foods, and she won't eat anything. She drank a bit of water earlier in the day, but nothing in the last few hours.Should I give her food in a syringe? She is getting stomach upset medicine by syringe every 12 hours. Am super-worried.

Thank you both. I wish there were some instructions about how to get over the loss of a furry friend. Opus, thank you so much for the instructions on feeding her. Ginger was adopted from the shelter when she was two and lived to 11.5 years. I think that she enjoyed the last 9.5 years of her life, having had only one bad week at the end.

Thank you so much. We took her back to the vet today and after more work we euthanized her. She was a lovely cat.

yes by all means start to assist feed.....make a soupy mix with a good quality high protein canned cat food or even MEAT baby food with NO onions. she needs to be getting something.
