Loreena, the Top Cat ?

I was thinking about taking Loreena for a studio photographic session .
I did my own book that place some years ago and I'm sure I will love her pics
Facts are:
1-Its not one specialized in animals - people there say its ok, owner will be together -but they only did it with dogs

2- I wont have money to buy the book later on - I will have to do with just the free pic they offer - and choosing one will be a hell .I already asked if they do just the CD- Book, but they dont :-(

3- Lolo is lovely with me and vets but  she was never free in a new place.
I know she wont scratch no one but I'm not sure about hidding somewhere

Do you think its ok if I do? Or its too much stressing for her?
Would you think about if it was your cat?
You know, moms are proud of her babies.. :-)
She was not stressed at all last time we left home - and she was going to her shots...

She accepts leash - but I guess she will do better without.
About the harness,I'm not sure if I got the meaning but the only thing here I 've found that could fit for a cat was a vest for small dogs.
It was not so expensive but I always have another thing to buy at the moment. Not sure if they still have and/or if works ok.
From what I know about her, if she panic she would run for her carrier or  strongly refuse left that
About the studio, most of the people there are girls, maybe it helps...And the room its not so small but you're right about not many places to hide.I will just ask then to keep that stuff made of feathers FAR FAR AWAY from her in advance, or I will not be responsible for any damage ( she got crazy one day when I arrived home with one feather - I cant believe she could smell that hidden inside a pair of shoes :-) )

Opus, I will hate a pic of Lolo posed sit like a dog...( and I guess that would be easier to get,she trust me enough to do it for a while in front of me,I believe)
I want one of her doing crazy things -having fun if possible.Means I will have to take my whole home in a bag plus the lady and the carrier...
I better wait til raining days are over ;-)
Well,if she did well - and dont destroy the place- I guess I will try  negotiate the pics for the right of using those images on Studio's adds. Not sure if it will work, but ...

cats are so much harder to take anywhere for something like a photograph. cats DON'T sit on command like a dog, the tend to PANIC in unfamiliar surroundings. please do as Jade suggests and use a leash if you are going to try to do this, I sure wouldn't want Lolo to run and hide on you.....luck to you both♥

What a sweet idea.  I think Loreena would do fine, but just to be sure, do you have access to or can you buy a harness?  Just a cheap one.  I don't know about a leash since it could choke if she were to run and you hold on.  Jade is calm with the vet and others, but if I were taking her somewhere like for a photo, would definitely have her on a harness outside the carrier.  Studio is probably small so not many places to hide..well, you've been there if I understand you correctly so you would know.  You say photographer has dealt with dogs, but I'm sure it's up to the owner to keep their pet calm since not his specialty.

I would consider this for Jade, but only because she's so easy going.  Our previous cat, Abby, probably not.
