Just an update my friends here in the cat forum. Hissie finally had a bowel movement! And yes she was constipated. Just like that time for the vet, this time it was the size of about a golf ball again. Since passing that, she has had several normal bowel movements. Praise God!!! She is eating. She has put back on most of her weight. Hiss is out socializing with us all the time now. Infact, Hiss and Paradise just woke me up real early today. The little monkeys...LOL. I heard a lot of hissing and growling coming from Hissie. Hiss still doesn't like Paradise, but Hiss tolerates her. So, I got on up and made certain there was not going to be a cat fight. Paradise is just young, full of mischief and pep. And of course, Hissie is old. Hiss though got plenty of spunk and energy and sure lets Paradise know it. My two girls keep me on my toes, but they sure worth it. So, we have passed yet another hurdle with Hissie. I though stay some anxious, waiting for each time, Hissie gets constipated, vomitting, etc. We didn't have to take her to the vet this time. So, we do feel some good, that we helped get her past this constipation ourselves. Still giving her the stool softener and the motility med at this time. But, I am still very seriously thinking about doing what PK did for her Abby. With meds, Hiss should not be getting constipated like this. I am trying to convince my husband about these changes. He does not understand medical things very well. I am more medical about the human body. But, I am learning my lessons well about the workings of the feline body now. I though would have never gotten there without you my friends here in the cat forum. You all are very special people to me. I will get my girl Hissie straightened out or else. Hugs all my friends!!!
