Is kitty okay post spay?

She was spayed 2/26.  She's 5 years old.  The vet gave her pain meds, the last of which she took on Friday.  She's eating and drinking some, but the past two days she's been staying in bed.  Should I be worried?

The wound looks okay, I'm just worried about her being so subdued.  She's supposed to have her stitches out tomorrow.  Hopefully the vet can ease my mind.

Thank you.

This behavior is likely due to the pain meds.  I will bet after a good nights sleep, your girl will be more back to herself tomorrow.  If not, then of course, do call your vet.

I think that if your kitty has come down with something, it's not related to the spay. It's a great sign if she's eating and using the litter box normally.

Bring your concerns up to the vet tomorrow. Watch her like a hawk until the appointment. Make sure she's pooping, peeing, and drinking normally.

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you.  She is--she  just used her box and she's eating right now.  I work tomorrow but will definitely talk to the vet tomorrow.
Kitty is home and has her stitches out.  She's going to town grooming herself.  So glad to have the cone off.
