Incidentally, for the record, females can spray, I've had more than one who have. (For the usual dominance and territory reasons.)
alot of great suggestions....good topic ladies!!!
first of all I want to say there is a difference and a different reason WHY a cat will spray or pee ....spraying is usually to mark territory and usually always a male cat..and this can be behavioral in nature.
while peeing (squatting to go) can be an aversion to dirty litter, type of litter or location of the box....cats are very picky abt their litter!!!!
It can also be a number of health problems, thus they pee right in front of you to tell you 'IT HURTS MOMMY'....this is their way of communication.
this can be an UTI as suggested, can also be crystals in the urine...brought abt by feeding dry food. and both are extremely PAINFUL.
remember you do need to clean EVERYTHING the cat has pee'd or sprayed on with an enzyme cleaner avail at pet stores to remove the odor from their sensitive noses...a wash will NOT do this alone, nor will vinegar or bleach!!!
here is an article from Dr. Becker with some points to follow....but I do suggest a trip to the Vet to rule out an UTI and/or urinary tract crystals...please!!!!

My cat always sleeps with me right up against me then one day he just stoped and moved to sleep at my feet or on my husbands side of bed then I noticed him peering on my underwear if I didn't get them in the basket fast enough about s week later found out I was pregnant' I'm 37 weeks now still wont sleep right by my belly and lees on my underwear but that's all glad to find I'm not they only one with the problem!!!
My cats only do that when the cat box is full. My boyfriend used to get so mad at them for peeing on the floor, but wouldn't scoop the litter. I do it myself now and have had no problens
My cat is interesting. She pees on my stuff when mad about things or unsettled. Ive just been making sure to give her love and she is acting fine now. I washed everything and she has calmed with it.
Female cats are NOT commonly known to mark.
It could be a UTI.... most animals will let you know by doing.it where YOU will notice.it....especially if your the main provider for her in the household. I have a cat who gets blocked and he literally comes and find me and then squads to pee so I can see that he's having issues. I also have a dog who NEVER had accidents in my house look right at me and pissed on my bed and turned out she had a raging UTI . Start off by.ruling.out medical issues and then turn to it being behavioral.
Thanks everyone! She is four years old and ive had her since her birth. We are very attached to eachother, so im hoping all will work itself out. She's like my baby, so it would be crushing to have to get rid of her. She used to climb on,my belly to lay, even before pregnancy. She doesnt anymore cuz he kicks her!
From what i have read it can 1) Be marking their territory from the new addition. Yes fhey know your pregnant. Some are real loving wanting to mark you as theirs and even lay on your stomach. Or 2) Turn out to be a problem with them such as bladder/kidney infections. UTI's are miserable for animals as well as people. Maybe call and chat w a vet's office. Before I moved to a new state I used to have 5 cats though two were outside. I never had this issue with them. Good luck :-)
Is it the male kitten peeing everywhere. It will help once he gets spayed but its really just because of pregnancy. Animals can sense the change in ur body just like they can sense when ur sick. Sometimes there is nothing to do. But try calling ur local vet and ask them what u can buy or do to help with that
ha ha I hope that doesnt happen to me I have a 4 year old tabby whos spayed and a female 14 week old kitten getting spayed today and a 14 week old male
It's bc your pregnant..my cat did the same thing but it started the last month of my first pregnancy and only got worse when we brought my son home from the hospital and this went on for almost 2yrs before I had to give her away bc she was peeing on everything at least once a day and would even pee on me and my husband sometimes :/
I believe with all my heart that animals can sense pregnancy n that they know something is bout to change. She's probably doing that to be territorial n mark her spot. Is she spayed?? That may or may not help idk. Both my cats r neutered lol but i kicked their butts outside cuz they purposly kept pooping everywhere but liter box!! Like it could b right beside! N that started when i got pregnant! Kinda like what ur grl is doing to u!! Idk what to say on how to prevent it.
