I went to my doctor for a new shot.he told me he wants to put me on more antidepressiv and muscle relaxers as he thinks my peoblems might be from nervousness too....i denied and told him i am not willing to take more drugs and i want him to give me the referal to an ns.he gave it to me and now am waiting for appointment.why i get denies now again my symptoms are from craniocervical instability....dont get it.i will inform next time about connection about chiari eds etc.i really feel here in spain they want to drug u to shut up...and i will not di that never....sorry for venting again

Sorry to hear your not feeling well, and I feel as you do and meds are not the answers, but I do take them.  I can't inmagine life without I take.  Glad to hear your shot worked for you.  Have you tried going to a pain specialist.?  It helped me a lot and don't have to take pain meds any longer.  Wishing you a better day.

Thanks selma.the thing i am angry is that the nerve shot us giving me enough relief for a few weeks i dont need more than the dosage i already take of the antidepressant.i prefer a million times more a local anastethicum than throwing in pills....and the reason they also want to higher the dosage is again that they think my vertigo is coming from my mind ;)) i got the shot and i am so much better,but i am sick of getting a million diagnosis from the same doctor....just because he doesnt like the idea of fusion...sorry for venting...and i know others have to thru this and more too. Hugs for all of u

  Hi Iris, I am so sorry u feel that is what they r trying to do to u, but they do that here too,....and those meds r typically what they do use for Chiari pain as not too many other meds work, if that is all they will offer, I understand ur anger...but u may want to try this until a diff treatment is offered to help control it.....

Vent away...holding it in is not good.....
