need help with 8 year old

My son is 8 years old and since he was 4 we have had problems with Behavioral issues but since my divorce with his mother it has gotten worse. While he is with me he is very well behaved but with his mother and in school he behaves very bad to to point where he tripped a girl and has lied about it denying it and saying that everyone is out to get him in general he is very caring.

Did anything happen to trigger it when he was 4years old ,? and I dont know how often he sees you but definatly Divorce is hard on children , perhaps there is a need here for more positive attention from you and his Mom, have any new step parents come into the picture as sometimes that triggers problems?
