New Drug For High Cholesterol?

Here's an interesting read about a new drug being tested to be administered in the form of a monthly shot to reduce LDL. The first study group was small, but it is now being tested on patients with high levels of LDL. The intent is to enhance the performance of cholesterol lowering drugs in patients not getting the desired results or for those that can not tolerate statins. The initial results claim up to a 64% decrease in LDL, that is huge.
