Having a healthy diet is good for everyone not just ladies that are pregnant.

Fruit juices are fine in moderation.  Too much can wear away the enamel on your teeth.

If you are not allergic to lactose or cheese, all dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt) is good for strong bones and teeth.  Whilst having a mucus and congestion problem it is better to ease off on the dairy because this does encourage the formation of mucus.

Alcohol is fine as long as it is only a small amount occasionally.
Smoking cigarettes is no good for the mother nor the growing baby.

I wouldn't take any drugs while you are pregnant as it could harm the baby, try to eat healthier during your pregnacy to ward off any bugs that may effect the baby too, doctors advise you to eat healthy during pregnancy for these reasons so the baby doesn't contract anything that may harm the baby so for the rest of your pregnancy try to eat healthy food and drink healthy, no alcohol, keep coffee down to a min like 1 cup a day, drink plenty of fruit juices and water and you and the baby should be fine.

Some people can get side effects from taking Dayquil.  There is no mention on their website to say if it is safe to take in pregnancy.

Personally, I would NOT take it.  If the sinus and cough are making you feel, it would be better for you to make an appointment to see your doctor who will be able to advise you and prescribe something if he felt this was required, in the event you do have a sinus infection.

At home you can make hot honey and lemon drinks to soothe your throat and cough.  For the sinus problem, make steam inhalations.

To do this, get a large bowl and pour in a kettleful of boiling water (taking care not to get scalded).  Put in some Vick or Olbas oil or any other menthol oil that you like, bend your head over the bowl of hot water and then cover your head and the bowl with a large towel.  Inhale the steam through your nose and out through your mouth.  Do this for a duration of 10 minutes  4 times a day.  This is what my doctor advised me to do as I am not able to take decongestants.

This is much safer and will not harm you or your growing baby.

Make sure that you drink plenty of warm juices to soothe your throat.  You may also find throat lozenges helpful, but do read the instructions on the packet before taking them.

Best wishes.
