Orphanedhawk, I didn't say there was something wrong with what God created. I guess I just believe what the bible says that it's not that He created it, that it's a choice we make, but we all have free will to make choices every day, whether it's in God's will or not or whether it's good for us or bad for us. But we probably will just have to agree to disagree on this subject as I know it's a subject that's sensitive to so many.
I have respect for all people, I do, and I don't go out there and preach on a pulpit or picket people or businesses or whatnot, I promise, lol. I just was showing why this OP's friend believed what she did, that it is indeed in the bible and the reasons why, etc.
Obviously homosexuality is part of the creation and I personally support any people sharing love.
What a great form of natural population control !

LOL! Love you ,OH
Mrs P~ I think a good gay friend of mine said it best when I asked his opinion on gays deciding to be gay.
He said, life was much harder as a gay man and he couldn't imagine why anyone would choose to be the "different, the outsider", in society.
April~ maybe he is a she or perhaps God is not definable in terms of sexual identity ?
I think just even watching a flower open and the perfection of a simple flower is proof of a creator who is pretty artistic! Or looking at how each person has a different set of finger prints and DNA to me is proof of a creator who cares so much for His creation that He wanted to make each one of us unique. Just watching the power of the waves of the ocean takes my breath away. I can't pretend to completely understand Him or know Him fully but I believe He's there and when I look at the beauty of creation to me it shows something of His character. I don't think we do Him justice when we try to describe Him because we still have so much to learn ourselves. ----------------------------------------------------------
I was going to try to just take one line out to emphasize but I couldn't stop-the whole paragraph is so awesome.
I am in complete agreement with you.
:-)
See, this is what I mean, rivil, I would love to learn more about Judaism and the history. I am always interested in history and I feel like I have so much to learn! It's all pretty fascinating to me and I feel like it would take a life time for me or more to learn everything I would like to learn. I have an insatiable thirst for things like this. It's just so interesting to me and I feel like I could talk about it forever and I know I have to watch that because then I tend to get passionate and people can take that wrong that I'm trying to get pushy with them and I don't mean that at all. But I would love to talk to you and mikesimon more some time about the history, laws and understanding of Judaism.
And I love what you said at the end, there, that miracles are in our lives every day, we need only to open our eyes. I do believe that Science and religion can go hand in hand and complement each other. I know some don't believe that but I do.

It has always puzzled me when people who believe that God created everything, then get on a bloody pulpit to preach about what is wrong about something God created.

My belief is love is god and that's all I've got to say about the subject.
