You know what? You're probably right on the "stupid" issue. I watched a show on MTV (that was my first mistake) that is about teen pregnancy.... Not a "smart" person in that group. Sad... Sad... Sad.
"The only problem with education and educating people is, they have to be willing to use said education to their benefit. It's a choice thing"
I agree..i also think if it was part of the curriculum and is isn't viewed as taboo, kids would listen more and make wiser choices...Maybe I'm naive but I do believe that!..lol
"people are going to fall through the cracks by not using the sense that God gave a goose"
True....
"Look at how many teens there are that are provided with the "education" and even birth control but still end up pregnant. (Of course they aren't using every precaution, but I think they know damned well that they around using EVERY precaution. They all can't be that stupid.)"
Unfortunately Brice, I think some of them are that stupid. Not all of them, some of them...lol

I am completely with you and I think more can be done in regards of education, but still, people are going to fall through the cracks by not using the sense that God gave a goose. (I'm guilty...)
Hey, we are all in agreement.
Mrs P is spot on, first we need to openly educate our teenagers and I'd even add preteens to try and eliminate unwanted pregnancies.
But realistically, there will always be some, so sure the pill is definitely better than abortion for a multitude of reasons.
Let's keep abortion, safe legal and rarely needed.
I personally don't like the idea of the morning after pill just like abortion but I do think this is a good step forward. However, incorporating regular birth control and openly educating the teenagers about safe sex, unprotected sex and its consequences as well in the conversation by schools (health class) doctors and parents will eliminate the need for the growing use of the morning after pill and abortion..IMO
I'd buy into this.
Hell, I'd even say that I'm okay with my tax-dollars paying for it.
I'd rather pay for a pill than an abortion (dollar for dollar, the pills are WAY cheaper).
This is a completely fiscal opinion, mind you, and not an opinion based on whether this is a moral/immoral thing to do).
Fiscally, makes sense to me to pay for pill(s) rather than pay for abortion, and psychological after-care needed for women that have abortions.
I remember going to the barber shop when I was a kid and asking my grandfather for a nickle, so I could get a gumball from that stupid little vending machine. Why don't we just put the "morning after pill" in one of those little deals?
