Hi,
The lesion is there since 10yrs or more..... i tried a medication(forgot the medication) which the doctor prescribed at that time and asked me to apply on the lesion and expose it to sun..... but i discontinued it seeing no improvement and discomfort of exposing the lesion to sun..... Ya i would stop smoking.....
regards.
Hi,
Since when have you noticed the lesions? Have you tried any medications for this? Are you on any medications currently?
You should stop smoking, use a medicated sun screen when you go out and avoid sun exposure.
It would be best to consult your skin specialist about the pigmentation so that appropriate medication can be prescribed.
You would need demylenising agents and if your doctor prescribes then maybe dermabrasion or laser therapy.
Let us know about what your doctor advises and post us if you have any other doubts.
Regards.

hi...
Thanks for replying so quick....
I'm not sure if i am allergic to any food, as i never observed this.... i would now....
Apart from Lip Lesion.... i have pigmentation marks on my cheeks and dark spots on my shoulder and back...... my skin and hair are very dry..... Recently i notice, bumps appeared around my mouth..... i'm attaching few pics...
I'm 30 years old and I do smoke about 3 cigarettes a day..... I'll do anything to cure this... the lesion appears pink once i been into sun and because of my dark skin complexion it clearly visible and looks horrible..... please advise me as what i need to do..
Best regards,
hari.
Hi,
You need to drink plenty of water and also keep your lips well moisturized. Apply a medicated lip balm with a sunscreen to avoid damage due to the sun.
Eat a healthy diet and replace it with any deficient vitamins and minerals.
If your lesions still persist, it would be best to see a skin specialist for a confirmed diagnosis and to rule out any other cause of the spot.
Are you allergic to any substances? What symptoms do you have other than the lip lesion? What is your age? Do you smoke?
Do not bite or suck your lips.
Let us know if you have any other doubts and also about what the specialist advises.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
