Bacterial and fungal infection

My friend drinks and smokes. Sometimes he has no cigarettes and picks up dirty ones off the pavement. He has now got an infection round his mouth and it is getting into his lungs too. No way will he go to the doctor. I cant find what the infection is called so I can buy him something.I have tried anti- fungal creams and anti- bacterial mouth washes but it is not solving it. Can u help please?

It is and infectious infection that  is subcutaneos[under the skin] and there is little to see on the surface , no rash but it weeps watery at the corners of his mouth. I did explain the symptoms to the doctor and he took a course of penicillin. It has eased the infection on his chest but not cured it. The doctor didnt or couldnt tell me what it is called. He wants to give my friend a blood test but he wont go for one.I have searched on the internet to see what it may be but no clue as yet.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How is your friend? Can you elaborate on his symptoms?  It is difficult to treat an infection if the underlying cause is not known.Medications you are giving him such as the fungal creams and mouthwashes will only be useless. It is best that he goes to a doctor for proper evaluation.  His medical history and direct clinical examination are important. Talk to him and make him realize that not treating his symptoms will lead to more serious conditions.

Take care and so keep us posted.
