Blisters on hands, fingers, toes

I have frequent eruption of small blisters on my fingers, hands and sometimes feet/toes.  They itch like crazy until I break the blisters.  Once the bilster is broken, the itch stops.  Sometimes I get several in a day; sometimes only one or two.  Sometimes they come in clusters, sometimes one at a time.  Can you give me any idea what might be causing this problem?

Thanks,
ValsMom

Thanks for your post, Leslie.  After extensive research on the web, I believe it's a rare form of exzema.  My outbreaks seemed to have stopped for now; I think mine are stress related.  If I have find it necessary to have it checked by a doctor and find out what it is, I'll be sure to let you know.

Have a wonderful Holiday.

I have been suffering with the same outbreak of blisters on my palms and in between my fingers for years, it started when I was a student and then it went aways for a long time, now it is back in full force and I understand the itch that you speak of. I don't know what it is for sure, but I do know that I started to get better when I stopped eating gluten.  If you ever find out what it is, let me know....
Thanks
Leslie
