Topical steroid withdrawal

I’m a 25 year old male who is currently going through topical steroid withdrawal in the groin area. I had a case of jock itch and was prescribed a steroid cream mixed with an anti-fungal. After using it on my groin area for a few days, my scrotum and testes started to become inflamed and red. I assumed that this was the jock itch spreading and the doctors that I talked to believed that was the case.
As time went on, I was given stronger steroid creams to try to get rid of the jock itch but it didn’t seem to work. Two and a half months later I came to the conclusion that the jock itch had been cured long ago and it was the steroid cream that was irritating and inflaming my skin. Leaving the folds of my groin feeling raw and my testes quite red.
I stopped taking any sort of topical steroid or anti-fungal around two and a half weeks ago and have seen minor improvements to the area.
Does anyone have any advice about this matter and things I could do or not do that could help improve my current state. Or is it something that I’ll have to wait and see if it eventually will go away?

I’ve been using glacsolbase moisturizer which seems to be helping a little.

So sorry to hear that the effects of the cream were causing the issue!  Have you contacted your doctor who prescribed the cream and continual use?  It is always very important to inform your doctor when your body reacts to something or it doesn't solve the condition- so do make sure you do that.  They will be able to tell you if anything will make it better faster- sometimes after a prolonged use, it can take a bit for the area to heal too.
