If you get this from your partner all the time, then perhaps he should take a course of Diflucan as well?

I am having the same problem. I have one partner now for for months and I keep getting a yeast infection after each intercourse. I went to the dr got Diflucan, and a gel and antibiotics two seperate times and this infection will not go away. I drink lots of water and eat yogurt every other day to balance everything I cant afford another dr bill again. No insurance. Has anyone had this problem? Recurring  yeast after intercourse?

u really should see a doctor if ur old enough to drive they might have a free clinic around your area just get it checked out and get the proper medication for it i don't know anything about detoxifying ur body it may or may not help but i'm not the one to ask about that sry

when it comes to monistat use the monistat 7 day a lot of times the 1 day treatment and even the 3 day treatment are to strong and can cause excessive burning and can throw off your ph level even more and lead to bacterial vaginois which is more medicin you will have to take to take care of the BV

if you start to get a whitish gray thin discharge that goes along with a fishy or foul smell go to the doctor and get a wet prep done that will tell them what's going on and you'll get the right medicine for whats going on! good luck and best whishes please contact me if you have any further questions

in regards to your yeast infecton problem

Girl you need to go see a doctor and get checked out because it could be something other than a yeast infection, it could be bacterial vaginosis which would need anti biotics to go away.  If you don't get this treated it could scar your falopian tubes and leave u sterile aka not able to have children, it can also lead to pelvic inflamitory syndrom which is very painful and dangerous if let go long enough without treatment...in regards to the medication only getting rid of the yeast infection temporarily that depends on ur body the medication the doctor gives you will treat and get rid of whatever you have going on and then it's up to you to take precations to avoid yeast infections but chances are you'll get another one bacteria in the vagina is funcky and can be offset by a lot of things

some steps you can take to avoid yeast infections:

avoid milk and sugary things while you have a yeast infection and alchol if you drink(beer has yeast in it and you are what you drink/eat)
wear loose clothing and don't stay in wet or damp clothing/bathing suits for long periods of  time
wear cotton underwear or atleast underwear that have a cotton lining
eat yogurt with active cultures (yoplay has good yogurt for that)
don't use sented anything down there, no sented soaps, tampons, pads nothing
don't use always pads (i was told by my gynocologist to not use them for some reason they're bad)
drink plenty of water
garlic can be helpful if you like the stuff
there's a probiotic that i take daily with my food it's called acidophilus and you can get that at walmart in the viatmains section for like 4 to 5 bucks
there's a gel you can use called rephresh that's also at walmart by the tampons and stuff for like 12 bucks and that's supposed to help balance ur ph level
and if you think your getting something they have these test strips you can normally find them at walmart or rite aid in the womens section that can let you test to see if it's a possible yeast infection or something else
exercise - this well help build your immune system, keep you healthy and it's supposed to help with down there
shower daily and if you feel like you have a yeast infection use just a wash cloth down there no soap if you can if you can't try dove sensitive skin that has no fregrance in it and is good for that area

and finally talk to your mother about your concerns she can help you out more with advice and can help you get an appointment for the doc i guarentee your mother has been through the same thing your going through plenty of times and she can help but please please go see a doc before it gets to the point where you could have permanent issues

hope this helps! if you have any more questions feel free to ask i have plenty of personal experience when it comes to yeast infections and BV
