I have an odd rash behind my left knee, could it be eczema?

For the last month I have had an awful itching behind my left knee. I originally thought it was a bug bite, but due to the duration, I am not so sure. It isn't entirely noticeable, but it burns anytime it is touched, even when I am applying lotion. It is bumpy to the texture, red, but not entirely noticeable. Right before this started, I visited South America, specifically Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. Could this be eczema (which I have never had a problem with) or something more?
