Please help me

I have been using eucerin on a salylic acid burn on my penis shaft. It has made the skin have a flaky melanin less scab over the wound since I started applying eucerin 2 weeks ago. I keep thinking it will peel off but it has not. Should I continue using the eucerin? The skin looks much more hydrated but I am just confused why eucerin caused a scab to form over my skin? Please help

Eucerin gave me a nasty allergic reaction.  I think it's the sunscreen that's in it. Consider something very mild and healing, like castor oil.

i would follow the prescriptions directions of your doctor and would continue to use as recommeded. Only stop if your having adverse reactions on the label.

sounds like your right, The inflated skin is now hydrated. Burns have a lenghtly healing process. The tissues responsible for rejuvination of skin tissue have been damaged.

Well the wound was flat, since I have used eucerin it is now raised slightly above the surrounding skin and appears to be a white scab. I was hoping maybe that meant eucerin in helping to replace the damaged skin, and maybe it is healing below the surface.

Hi and welcome. That cream is an hydrating cream to hold moisture in a dry area. Are you sure the scab came from the cream use of the now the burn is starting to heal from using the cream?
