MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

If this is not associated with any other symptoms like fever or rash, there is nothing to be worried about. Flushing occurs because the blood vessels in the skin dilate.  The usual causes of flushing may be due to: alcohol, food additives, eating, neurological problems, medications or even the weather. However, if it persists, it would be best to have it evaluated further for proper management and to rule out other causes such as rosacea. Treatment usually depends on the underlying cause.

Take care and regards.
