Rash on lower abdomen/pubic area

So last night and this morning i had sex with a ladyfriend that i have been seeing.  about 4-6 hours after we had sex that morning i noticed that my pubic area began to itch so i checked myself out and i have a large rash on my lower abdomen/stomach area, going from the bottom of my belly button to the base of my shaft. nothing on my genitals or underside of my shaft, just the pubic and abdominal region.  Is this just a regular rash? has anyone heard of this before?

Dr. Kaur, dont you think it is an STD infection and would require use of antibiotics as well as the calamine lotion to keep the abodminal area calm

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it looks like a rash due to friction rub as any other pathology like a fungal infection takes a little while to develop. Apply a lubricant like petroleum jelly and avoid coarse clothing and wear 100% cotton fabric against your skin and clothing that is free of moisture, dried sweat, chemicals, dirt and other debris.

Also apply calamine lotion on the skin that has already chafed. If the symptoms are sever then please apply a mild steroid cream on the rash. If the symptoms persist then please consult a dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
