Rosecea treatment

My Husband has mild to moderate rosecea. Have seen two dermatologists so far but the condition did not improve. He was given topical metrogel 1%  which did not work and the 2nd dermatologist put him on antibiotics for 3 months! nothing worked and wondering what other options he has.

Hello,
The exact cause of rosacea is not known. The basic process seems to involve dilation of the small blood vessels of the face. Treatment options vary from antibiotic creams, antihistaminics, sun screens to laser treatment.

Avoiding rosacea triggers, such as caffeine, spicy foods, and alcohol, also may help clear the skin. If the symptoms persist then please consult a dermatologist.

I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
