I have a bit of psoriasis.
I have had improvement with Dr. Bronner liquid soap. He also has bar soap. I think what is most helpful is the one with orange in it. The acid seems to help break up the plaques. In fact I use a moisturizer with vitamin C also. There are also prescription meds with vitamin D that are supposed to help.
I am not a believer in topical corticosteroids, which is all that Benovate medicine is. It is supposed to treat inflammation, but it thins skin andn causes more problems and cures nothing.
The cream that helps me is called Psoriaflora. It is over-the-counter and you can order it from Amazon. But when I did that, it took about 2 months to get to me, so read up on the actual supplier to make sure he or she fills orders quickly. You may be able to find it in a store like a health food store. Whole Foods carries it for one. You can put apple cider vinegar on it. Petroleum jelly can be helpful. Get sunshine! Vitamin D from the sun is very important. My psoriasis got bad after we had a very cloudy year. It got better when I worked outside in the past.
Quite in favor of Psoriasis from the pic.Do consult your doc.
