I have something on my vagina, it's not an STD I am a virgin please help

I could really use some help, for over a year now I've had this thing on my vagina lips.

It started out like a spot as I can remember, then it grew into some growth thing. Once it stopped getting bigger it started to loosen as though it was going to fall off. Now, the growth hangs onto my vagina by a piece of skin.

I was thinking it could have been a skin tag. It looks like this, although it's more the same colour as my skin.

I've tried pulling it off, lol I know I seem crazy. I'm terrified of going to the doctors, especially with this problem. I was a virgin when this appeared on my vagina so it can't be an STD.

I was debating phoning the doctors soon, although I need some help first.
It's around the size of a finger nail maybe. I just want it gone I can't have a normal sex life.

I fingered myself a lot during that time, and I always rubbed my vagina over my underwear really hard. So my underwear was rubbing against my vagina a lot. I hear clothes rubbing against skin too much can cause skin tags? I fingered sometimes 3 or 4 times in 1 day.

What are the chances of it being a skin tag, or what else could it be?
What will the doctor do to get rid of it, what will happen to me exactly? Please help I need to be prepared, I have bad anxiety when I go to the doctors.

Thanks, I'm guessing it's one of the viral or benign then since it's definitely not HPV, since no sexual contact had happened. I'm just working up the courage to phone the doctor, but thanks for the help.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Two possibilities are coming to my mind. The first is of seborrheic keratosis which is a benign growth of the skin and the second is of a viral wart. Warts are tumours or growths of the skin caused by infection with Human Papillomavirus (HPV).They are contagious when in contact with the skin of an infected person. It does not look like a skin tag.

I suggest you to get it examined from a dermatologist and perhaps get it removed and biopsied.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
