What causes dry brown non-itchy skin.

I have this dry patch of skin on my stomach, but it's not itchy. It's slightly darker than my own skin. I recently saw a video in which my girlfriend recorded me while I changed into her favorite **** and realized that I didn't have it then (this was back in 2014) and now it's on my stomach and starting to appear on the lower part of my back. I will admit that back then I was significantly skinnier. I have gained a lot of weight since then. Just recently I noticed I am starting to get that same brown dry skin on the inside of my elbo. It the size of like an pencil eraser. Please help me find out what this is. The only comdition that kind of resembles what I have is "Ichthyosis Vulgaris" It just doesn't look as extreme.
