What could this be???

Hello, Latley I have been seeing small flesh colored bumps on my skin. Have some on my arms most are on my sholders and where my shirt hits the most. They are not red unless i mess with them, The are small and look almost like ingrown hairs but not infected or a pore that is covered with skin... Hope that makes sence. They do not hurt,  itch or anything they are just small bumps I am 27 years old and never had an acne issue.  They look like a very small BB under the skin (Much smaller than a BB though) I have been under a lot of stress latley as well as having very high anxiety not sure if this has something to do with it. Please give me your thoughts

Thanks alot

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
The symptoms are suggestive of folliculitis and there is nothing to worry about but the other possibilities are of viral rash, heat rash, sweat dermatitis or cysts.

Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
