Return Yeast infection???

I had a yeast infection about 2 weeks ago I got an antifungal pill to take and six to insert but no antifungal cream for my vagina. After my symptoms cleared up I had sex (unprotected sex) with my boyfriend and everything was ok until my menstrual came. I started having itching around the second day of my menstrual and now it's beginning to get worst do I need to go back to the doctor or can I just get an antifungal cream at a pharmacy? On that note sanitary napkins always seem to irritate my skin could it be the pad that cause it to come back or could it be the fact that i had unprotected sex? I checked with my bf to see if he is okay just to be sure this isn't an sti and hes okay..... But i am still worried I need help this is really getting to me now
