Soap for the face?

Hey,

I was wondering if its safe to use soap on the face? Especially Olay soap with shea butter. Plus, is it okay to use it as an alternative to shaving cream?

Hello,
Yes it is ok to use soap on the face provided it is a mild soap like Dove, Cetaphil, Olay etc. But you cannot use it as a substitute for shaving cream. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing

Yes, it's safe. As long as it's a mild soap. If you have problems with Acne you may want to use a face wash that's geared towards people with Acne problems.

Shaving cream is great to use for shaving, and there ARE types with lotions in them. But you can also get a "shaving lotion".  as long as you put a good amount on the skin so that the razor doesn't brush the skin too hard it should work. Check with your doctor to make sure its alright.
