i have a fungi and cyst in my head, i don't know how i manage to catch it,it itches,i went and get meds ,i was given advantan cream and exoderil cream,it goes away but comes back again,do you think i am spreading it with my finges when i apply the cream?when will this thing go away?

Seborrheic dermatitis which may be causing the dandruff may be contagious due to an associated yeast infection. However, this has not been fully established. Avoid sharing brushes, towels and other personal belongings as this may only help spread the condition.
If the scalp condition persists despite treatment ,then a biopsy may help. However, was a fungal infection established here? Microscopic evaluation of scalp scrapings from the area as well as a culture of any visible discharge from the cyst may be necessary to guide treatment.
A substance from pepper called piperine has been shown to aid in hastening resolution of vitiligo. It has been shown to decrease UV exposure times as therapy for vitiligo. This however is yet to be studied further. Further clinical trials are still needed to establish its safety in humans.

my son has vitiligo is pepper really the cure,i heard a scienctist said that the cure is in pepper?
i was given pills but nothing seems to work,my boyfriend has a very bad dandruff problem,do you think i caught it from the brush i used or the pillow?

If this is a fungal infection , then you may need oral medications for this. Fungal infections may be spread through skin to skin contact and also through contact with infected objects like towels for instance. It is necessary to avoid sharing towels ,brushes, combs, hats and other personal belongings. Washing your hands and disposing possible infected materials like cotton balls and gauze are necessary.
Discuss oral medications with your physician as topical creams may not be sufficient for tinea capitis or scalp fungal infection.
