help me stop itching, help clear the blisters for good!!! Please Help!!!

For a year and a half now I have had blisters all over my body, from my feet right to my face. More of them are on my feet, and butt my hands are an absaloute mess!!! I have had more pills then most pharmacys have on a daily bases!! I have had many many creams to no avail. I have seen so many doctors and had many biopsies. But one dermatologist said I was a self mutelator and would not help!! If I was a self mutelator I hope to god I would not mutlate my hands considering I work with children and am so embarrased by them it isn't funny.. as well traveled 3 times a week over an hour away in each direction.
So here is how they start, Sometimes new blisters just appear other times I am so itchy I just can't stop itching and I cause blisters, but not always!!! However I am always itchy itchy. Nothing has changed laundry soap, soap, food, nothing! Obviously I don't dig at my butt nor my face, however when itchy I cant find many ways to stop the itch besides soaking in hot hot water. Which is very painful if i have a new blister and a few(many ) open ones alread!
I am at the end of my rope and really need help
Please help

Hello,
From your symptoms it looks like you are having dyshidrotic eczema. It primarily involves the hands and fingers and then may involve the feet. The first stage is acute and presents as itchy blisters on the hands, fingers and toes. Then the chronic stage shows more peeling, cracking, or crusting. Then the skin heals up, or the blistering may start again. The exact cause is not known and excessive sweating can be one of the reasons.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I have heard since I have this...That dishydrotic eczema is caused by food allergies..stay away from gluten and dairy. When I am good...No itching!! And benydryl is my friend. Take extra when you have started itching...3 or 4...before bed. My advice I am not a doctor but you have histamines that are going crazy! WEll don't know if this was helpful. Cindy

I was woundering if you could help answer a couple more questions I have! So I assumed I had dys.ecxema, I went to the doctors he agreed that it was probably that. I tried multiple creams/pills and nothing no relief....so I have suffered with this for almost three years, until 2 weeks ago...I got shingles, the outpatient doctor put me on valacyclovir and my feet and hands have completely dried up...No more blisters, no more itching...nothing..My question to you is could it be possible to have had shingles on my hands and feet this whole time? Or is it just luck of the pill I'm on? When I looked up photos of shingles on hands and feet they matched my hands and feet to a "T"?  I can't stop looking at my hands because they have not been this clear in years!!

any info you have would be greatly appreciated!!

Hello,
Dyshidrotic eczema chiefly affects the palms and feet and if you are having extensive blistering on other parts of the body as well, then the diagnosis needs to be confirmed by means of biopsy. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Just recently I came across an article  on dyshidrotic eczema and the pictures and symptoms all seemed like what I have, however it doesn't explain why I have these blisters on other parts of my body. A few on face, butt, legs, breast BUT NOT on the belly?  So could it still possibly be Dyshidrotic eczema? And all the sores are the same on all parts of my body, except because of extreme itching and digging my feet has peeled layers of skin!!!

Thanks very much to you and everyone else who has responded to my question!!! I just wish finding a good helpful doctor was easy!!!   Instead of ones who just guess and put you on medications that they don't know if they work or not, JUST TO TRY IT!!!

I have the same thing, even had been accused of being a drug addict.  I am 50 yrs young and have never had a problem like this.  All I have to do is rub my face and I will start bleeding and oozing.  I never broke out in my life until about 1 to 1 1/2 years ago.  Now, I itch all the time, my skin is so thin and if I scratch at all I will have a sore that will last for weeks and darkened and reddened spots that have yet to go away.  I look like I just got over chicken pox with all the scars.  It is so embarrassing,  I can pluck my eyebrows and they will start bleeding.  My skin has always been smooth and even and now I am polk-a-dotted and scarred to the point you can feel it with your fingers.
     I am with you....please HELP!!!!!
