Hello,

Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be contact dermatitis, rash due to friction rub with clothes, dermatitis (atopic, contact, allergic), heat rash or excessive sweating causing sweat dermatitis.

You may try calamine lotion on the rash. You should also maintain hygiene and try to keep the area clean and dry, wear loose-fitting cotton clothing. Also use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid deodorant / cosmetics. You can also use a barrier cream with zinc oxide paste or petroleum jelly or a mild steroid cream like dermacort applied directly to wet skin after bathing. Also take some over the counter antihistaminic like benadryl or Claritin to relieve itching.

If the rash persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted if you have any additional queries.Kind regards.

You may want to see a dermatologist about Scabies - if the bumps look like small pustules - or if the itching is worse at night.  Perhaps fleas or bed bugs.  With all of those the itching is very intense.  We've been treated for all of those without sucess.  Still not a definitive diagnosis.  The scabies all the dermatologist has to do is a skin scraping and look under the microscope.  It's very contagious through skin to skin contact so if that's what you have you want to get it diagnosed immediately.
