POSSIBLE HIV rash !!

Hi, i have had a rash for almost a 4 weeks now it started out redness on my torso then my neck and face and a little bit on my arms it was raised at all and for about 5 days straight it felt like a sunburn. The sunburn feeling has since went away but the redness is still there i can touch it and it leaves a white handprint.. Now i have itchiness on my forarms fingers. and on the back of my shoulder by my armpit.. When i scratch this it turns real red and there is a spot in the middle of the redness is it possible this is an HIV rash? if not any idea what it sounds like im really scared!!

Thank you

Thank you for your reply Dr. I have taken benadryl and that does not seem to help and i have also researched contact dermatitus im not sure if it really describes what im going through. The thing i find weird is that pretty much my whole upper body is slighty red( not very noticeable to someone else)  and leaves a white print when touched. And the bumbs that itch and red, raised, waxy, and about the size of a dime.. I am going to schedule a Doctor's appointment for this week but any more information you could give me would be great.

Thank you for all of your help

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to contact dermatitis, allergic reaction or some viral rash. It does not sound like a rash due to HIV. You can take antihistaminics like Benadryl and Claritin. Topical low potency corticosteroids and calamine lotion are also helpful in relieving the symptoms. More severe cases require oral corticosteroids. For that you need to consult your dermatologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
