feeling very shaky

Hello. I have been getting very shaky off and on for months now. I have 2 diabetic step-daughters so I know the drill with all of that. I have taken my blood sugar from time to time when I'm shaky and I have been as low as 52 and as high as 146. This evening I felt shaky immediately after eating skittles so I checked and I was 73. I had some cheese and crackers and checked again 30 minutes later (still feeling shaky) and I was 116. Then another 30 minutes after that I was still shaky so I checked again and I'm going down. I am now 108. Is it normal to be going back down so fast? And why won't the shaky feeling go away?

I have been diabetic since 1996.  The candy is considered just a quick fix.  Peanut butter and milk are better than candy I think.  Watch your carbs and the amount of sweets you eat.

Yes
for one thing our BG meters are only 20% accurate so a reading of 116 and a reading of 108 could be the same BG.

go away... dont know
what is your BG before you eat?  fasting?
