HUGE day for me!

So, today I weigh in at 186.6 lbs. When I joined this community, I weighed 219 lbs! The reason 186 is so important to me is because it is how much I weighed when I met my fiance, and before I got pregnant with my son. I have had 3 years to hold on to that weight, and now it is gone!!! I am officially the size I was then! I am working towards 160 by my wedding in 6 months, and to eventually reach a healthy weight of 140. Once those goals are met, I will decide on a final weight I would like to get to. Today is a HUGE day for me because I have not weighed 186 lbs in over 3 years! Gosh I am so happy! Just had to share!

Mainly I dropped my calories to 1500 a day! I work out occasionally but really going to start working out more frequently!

awesome job!! Oh, not sure if you have a davidsbridal where you at, but thats where I got my dress and they are beautiful! but man, way to go! How did you get the will power and how did you do it?!?!

Pinkbelle-I only have 6 months, so i really need to buy a dress off the rack. I am not going to get an ugly dress by any means, but I want to find one that looks great, but not not perfect. I don't care if it's designer or anything like that lol Good luck getting down to the size 8!

That is great Cheyenne!!! Congrats! I am so happy for you! I am finally at the weight I was before I got pregnant with Avery and it is such a great feeling. I still want to lose more too but I am happy that I came this far. Good luck and keep up the good work! :)

Setting smaller goals is such a GOOD idea - and then SHOUTING OUT when you reach one is an even GREATER idea.

yeah! congrats!!!

i am one of those brides that wants that perfect dress.. lol. and its a size 8 unfortunately and i am a size 18.. yikes!!! so i have a long, long way to go but i am going to get into that size 8 dress.. i have 11 months til my wedding day :)

Thanks Ranae! I am getting so excited about the wedding and will feel a million times better once I have a dress to wear lol Hopefully I find one this weekend! The good news is I am not TOO picky, so if it looks good, it will be a winner! I am not one of the brides that has to have the PERFECT dress lol I have an idea of what I might like but we shall see what I come across!

Thanks ladies! I tried on my prom dress from my junior year in high school and it fit except for the top inch or so wouldn't zip! That made me feel great because it is a 15 and I am going wedding dress shopping this weekend and didn't have much confidence lol
