Discontinuing Beta Blockers

Hello! I have been on a low dose beta blocker (concor 2.5 mg) for the past 4 months. For the past few days I felt that I might be able to do without them since I wake up and my HR is around 58-60 and taking the morning dose makes me tired and generally unwell.
Is it ok to taper off by taking the med on alternate days for a while and then discontinue?
What kind of side effects should I expect while I do this?

No usually when you taper off you don't skip days ....you would take half a dose but still take it on a regular basis and I don't know what the side effects would be.... have you had any success or have you tapered off already? keep us posted
