Anyone else get top of thigh (anterior) pain?

I was laid up all weekend with inflammation-like pain. For three cycles in a row my left ovary side was hurting and now I'm starting to get this on and off upper thight pain. Could endo cause this pain?

I have never had a lap/official diagnosis. An ultrasound said that I have assumed severe adhesions on my left ovary which wraps it around and back to my uterus (lovely, huh) due to suspected endometriosis. I used to have severe dysmenorrhea before birth control pills (my saviors) and I was blessed with a child in 08 after IUI/Clomid/Trigger.

We are debating on a second child but this leg pain is new.

I took Advil to try to relieve the inflammation. It didn't help.

@ticked. I guess I'm a "lucky one". 1. I had my wonderful son despite that issue (even with Clomid and a little help. and 2. my mom had severe pain, blocked tubes, etc. where she couldn't even get out of bed or work. I'm lucky I didn't have those symptoms minus severe hemorraging back in the day. For now the inflammation is gone but I'm also in my ovulation cycle. Just weird I would get the pain the week after my period stopped.

Oh well. Just take NSAIDS until I make up my mind if surgery is ever going to be worth it.

And yes, thank you achilles. I will definately keep him in mind!

I am going to say that having an ovary wrapped around your uterus is a sign of severe endo.  Well that is what my surgeon said. I had kissing ovaries where both ovaries were wrapped around it. Funny though because each technician kept seeing my ovaries which where not where they said they were seeing it!!!! lol  Makes you wonder.

Before a surgery what I would do is get blood work done (CA-125) if it is raised above 35 it could mean that your insides are inflamed.  I had it taken 3 times. The first time was 37 on my period, and 78 when I was ovulating.

And seeing that the BCP is working for you it really does sound as though it is endo that you do indeed have.
