I got diagnosed with "suspected" endometriosis about a year ago after all my complaints being completely ignored by my doctor for a solid year prior. Over that year my symptoms have gone from painful periods, and bladder frequency and burning issues, and now include pain during sex (literally every time now), bladder weakness, minor anal bleeding, bowel issues, and now this excruciating hip pain that leaves me unable to stand, sit or walk for extended periods.
I ended up at the hospital last night for the second month in a row due to the pain, yet my GP utterly refuses to take me seriously or write me a referral to a OB/GYN.
I am 23, and being in so much pain, and unable to even have full control of my bladder is really deteriorating my mental health.
I am starting to feel a little desperate. How do I get my GP to take me seriously? Or should I just find a new one altogether?
