Ya no I am going to find you a better one because one who would just throw you meds instead of actually operating is a horrible doctor :) give me until tomorrow :)
It's blood filled because I've had to get the blood drained from my abdomen before and lots of fluid always shows up around my ovaries and lower abdomen in CT scans. I'm in the Oklahoma area and the gyno I go to is Rumph, he is supposed to be the best but he just thinks he can throw pain pills at every thing instead of fixing it.
Ya no that is not good. You need a new doctor. Tell me where you are and I can find you one of the best.
If you have an endometrioma (blood filled) cyst that is an indicator of moderate to severe disease. It needs to be treated.
If your doctor is saying that then you really need a new one because that is a lie and he is wrong by telling you this.
The youngest person that I personally know that has been operated on is 12. I also know of many girls on twitter who are your age that have had it done as well. So please do not listen to what he is saying he is not educated in this disease and you want someone who is to operate on you.
Be your own advocate with this disease that is key
He won't do laparoscopy either to remove the endo even though I'm in constant pain and practically living off hydrocodone just to be able to walk.
The gyno refuses to do any surgery to remove because I'm only 16. I was already on birthcontrol and estrogen supplements prior to diagnosis so he threw out all possible hormone therapy and said the only way to fix it was to get my ovaries and uterus removed but that can't happen for another 6 years.
Did you have surgery to diagnose?
A hysterectomy does not cure Endo, I wanted you to know that.
.
It is possible that all the endo wasn't removed when you had surgery or it was done using just the laser.Endo needs to be excised (cut out) from the root.
There are some doctors in Toronto that I know of that prescribe vaginal valium that might help however if the surgery wasn't done right its possible it won't help until all the Endo is removed.
