After Surgery Question

I was diagnosed with Endometriosis. Last week I had my left ovary and fallopian tube removed. I am still uncomfortable but on the mend. The dr told me to expect some bleeding even though it was done laproscopicaly. Well right around now is when my period is due and with the cramping and such I believe it is starting. My questions is, Can I only wear pads or can I wear tampons? I was not sure if it mattered since the procedure was not done vaginally. Thank you

Not sure. 2 of my cousins had the same procedure and they both had follow ups around 2 weeks afterwards. Thanks

hmm that is weird. Usually its 6 weeks but I would ask them next week regardless. Don't use tampons.

Go with pads until your 6 week post op.
