New here..

Hi all Im new here.. Just had a question. I have had really really bad cycles for months now! Horrible pains to where I cannot get out of bed till my 3rd or 4th day.. Back hurts.. Etc.. I went to the dr and she gave me levora bcontrol pills, and I am having lots of cramping starting the pills.. Is that normal? Also I havent been diagnosed with endo yet, she did an US and everything seemed normal.. This has been very frustrating for me bcause I know something is wrong. Help in any direction would be appreciated!

Not sure about cramping, unless its associated with symptoms like its making your period come on. Otherwise, id suggest to check the product insert or call your drs office and ask.

dont feel discourage by the ultrasound. Ive have 2 abdominal and vaginal ultrasounds, an abdominal CT scan, consult by the gastroenterologist to rule out ibs, std tests, painful manual vag tests, all to say NORMAL! Then my dr. says "so either theres nothing wrong-and that'd a good thing you dont want something to be wrong, and you can just wait and see if it goes away. If not and it gets worse then we shoukd do a laparoscopy" im looking like....WTH! A month later the lap confirmed endo on my ureter and fibroids in my uterus.

I also have terrible periods and doctors cant tell me what is wrong or why. Anytime I switch/stop/start birthcontrol my periods are affected for sure. I stoped taking birthcontrol this past September ( after taking it for 6 years straight) becuase my husband and i are trying to get pregnant & I just had my first period since then 2 weeks ago. Some birthcontrol did help with my symptoms, but Im sure for most women, anytime you (like in your case) switch birthcontrol your body can react in a variety of ways. I use a heating pad on my tummy when cramps are bad and have my husband message my tummy & also the obvious, taking some kind of pain killer. Have your tried Midol? It works for some women, but i know it didnt work for me really. Let me know if any of this has helped :) good luck!! I have heard the saying before, God gave periods and pregnancy to women becuase he knew they could handle it better then men lol
