Normal after a lap?

I had my first lap on Wednesday for endo. They burned off two spots behind my right ovary. I have noticed the more that I am up and around the worse the pain is and the more I spot/bleed. Is this normal? I know she told me that I would bleed a little the first da, but I am now three day post op so I didn't know. I also wondered what you all were told as far was restrictions and what to do after surgery. I was told nothing. I have a very labor intense job and they told me I have no lifting restrictions past today. But that doesn't make sense to me. Also I didn't know when I could actually take a bath again. I know that I can shower but I love nothing more then a good hot long bath!!!!! I quit taking my pain pills the day after surgery and am only takin motrin because the narcotics make me sick. I know the narcotics would kelp the pain more but I don't like feeling sick. Anything that you all can tell me would be very helpful!!! Thanks all!!!!!

Hey! My dr office told me after about 4 days-1 wk I should be bk to normal but can't lift over 25 lbs for about 2wks after. I've begun the paperwork for fmla and disability because of this restriction. as we've discussed before, the ability to lift is part of our job description so I won't be able to work (obviously).

I guess every woman is different because when i had my surgery i had to stay outta work for like 6wks. i orignally went in because i had a 12cm cyst on my right ovary and a 6cm cyst on the left. i didnt bleed none after surgery. i only bled when it was time for my period to come on before i started taking lupron and my dr warn me about that. i couldnt lift anything heavy and i had to take it easy. but things will get better in due time just dont try to over work yourself and take things slow
